One of my favorite places in Richmond is Belle Isle.  I could literally spend all day there walking around and sitting out on rocks.  Today I got to go with two friends and we decided to bring cameras and play around.  My one friend just got a DSLR and is so excited to learn the ins and outs.  What better way to learn then to practice!  My other friend Alysa is such a good sport because as we walked around I saw the most beautiful lighting and just had to get pictures and so she became my model.  SHe was a great sport and I’m so pleased with the turn out!

I’ve been taking pictures almost my whole life and have always heard of people referring to finding the perfect light.  I have worked with great light before but today I found my dream lighting.  It was perfect!  So glowy (my technical term), shinning through the trees (perfect for bokeh) and simply dreamy.  Take a look for yourself and see what I mean!
