First let me start off by saying, scroll down for a second and then scroll back up. Isn’t Maggie GORGEOUS!!? I mean really! It isn’t a surprise to me how beautiful she is but what was a surprise was how grown up she is! You see, I’ve known Maggie for her whole life, literally. Our Mom’s are old friends and so our families used to spend a lot of time together. Birthday parties, Christmas parties and even Creative Memory parties were spent together. Creative Memories ps is a scrapbooking company and back in the day, we were big into scrapbooking. In any case, as we grew up a bit I would even babysit Maggie and watched her play outside as a little goof ball. Seeing her now all poised and grown up was a little crazy but definitely cool as this girl is going places!
When my Aunt Sharon (her mom) asked me for a session for Maggie’s senior images, I jumped at it! It is a perfect excuse to get to go home to Baltimore but also I knew it would be so relaxing and fun working with them since I know them so well. We set the date for a Saturday and I packed my bags and drove up to good ole Baltimore. Checking the weather on Friday night though and seeing that it was supposed to snow on Saturday got me a little worried. I called my Aunt Sharon and we decided to roll with the punches and see what happens. So Saturday morning we met up at Cromwell Bridge Park and went for it! It was a little chilly and overcast but that didn’t stop us. I actually think these images may be better since it was overcast because there is nothing distracting from Maggie! We got some gorgeous images even when it started raining and yes we did still shoot in the rain (only at the end). Maggie is a great sport! I had her climbing up into brush on the side of the road, sitting in the kind of wet ground and climbing a wall that was ancient and even had a hazard sign… but it paid off. I love these images!
Maggie love- I’m so excited for you and all the big things coming your way! You were a rockstar at this shoot and I hope you love these as much as I do. Congratulations on college acceptances and finishing high school, I can’t wait to see what you end up doing!
