Get ready for one of the most colorful sessions I’ve posted in a long time!  This family is perfectly represented by these images!  They are joyful and bright and inclusive to their incredible bond.  Leaving this session had me feeling like I was a part of their family for a brief moment in time.  And what a great place to be because their family is lovely.  

I know Brooke from work at Quioccasin and when she asked me if I could take portraits of her family for a present for her mom I jumped at the chance.  She’s been talking about her adorable nieces and nephew for a long time and I couldn’t wait to meet them!  I honestly thought I would know how great they were but I couldn’t have prepared for how much they surpassed my already high expectations.  These kids are so alive with spirit and the best part is how the adults embrace their excitement.  Each one is unique but share a love for each other and a kindness towards others that goes beyond words.  The little one was my personal little idea machine.  Many of these images were her idea or were because she was in the background going “KISS EACH OTHER!!”.  Seriously precious!

I loved getting to interact with this family and feel so grateful to have been included in their fun for a small amount of time.  Mr. and Mrs. Carter you have a truly beautiful family and I feel really blessed to have gotten to know you all!  Thank you for your kind words to me in appreciation, it means so much to me that you reached out to share your love of the images.  🙂
