Oh my ‘lanta was this a precious session!  Charlie turned one and we had his final milestone session of the three!  He has changed a ton since I last saw him which was a year ago, just two or so weeks old and soo tiny!  Now he is full of personality, smiles and strength!  I mean it, this kid is strong!  Just wait to see him climbing up the slide – he can’t walk yet but can climb up a slide and hold onto the monkey bars!  It was actually kind of crazy – in a cool way!  

His personality was the most fun to see and honestly the best part about doing milestone sessions.  The first session was full of anticipation as it was Kayleigh’s maternity shoot, and then it was a new love and beauty getting to see the Kayleigh and Brian become a family of three.  I got to see this family grow from the moments of excitement and unknown to having an newborn baby to now – a one year old boy who is full of energy and love.  It’s so neat to be a part of families stories – especially getting to start with them from the beginning.  What I love most about Charlie is his little giggles that seriously make your heart melt! That and the fact that his eyes sparkle! It took no time at all for him to warm up to me and he jumped right into this session as if eating cake in a field was totally normal. 🙂 But then again there was cake so… it’s not too hard to get on board.
