Crump Park – Richmond Fall Family Mini

Wanna know my favorite way to end a session? Definitely, hands down, getting to play with or chat with the kids.  So when Maggie and Cooper asked me if I was going to walk around Crump park with them and see the animals I genuinely jumped for joy and said YES!  And then I just about died and went to heaven when little miss Maggie reached out and held my hand the entire time we walked around looking at the piggies!

I love this family and if you’ve been here a bunch then you’ve definitely seen them in the past.  I worked with Becky at Quioccasin Middle and she quickly became one of my favorites as she can always keep my giggling.  She has the funniest stories of these two little guys and I’ve been telling her for years that she’s going to need to write me a how-to manual for when I have kids one day.  Seriously though #goals.

This session was such a bucket filler because I hadn’t seen them in a while and I loved getting to catch up.  Plus they have big major life news recently!! They moved into a new house, got a puppy, started Kindergarten, started a new job at a new school AND defended a dissertation!!!  Holy cow they have a lot of fun and big moments this year!  HUGE congratulations to Chris for defending his dissertation!!  I saw Sterling go through this process and remember Becky telling me about him going to get his Ph.D. and it is not for the faint of heart.  Definitely a labor of love for everyone involved but a huge accomplishment for anyone who completes the degree.  CONGRATS CHRIS!!!

I LOVE these guys and have loved the brother/sister love between Maggie and Cooper since Maggie was born!  These two are two little giggle monsters and they absolutely adore each other.  Seriously (again) #GOALS! I mean I’m telling you, the day Becky writes this How-To book, I’m going to read it first and then she’ll publish it and become the next Joanna Gaines!  I can hear her giggling at me right now but she knows I’m so serious!!

Without further ado here are my favorites from our fall mini together at Crump Park in Richmond!
