After last year’s crazy summer of moving, I was so ready for this summer and the time to just relax. It’s been amazing! Best of all is that our summer has been really casual. Nothing crazy but just settling into those warm summer nights and taking on some home projects.
My favorite part about summer is being outside. I love going on long walks and spending time in the sun. I’ve gone to my parent’s house to be by the pool almost every weekend/chance that I can get and each night Sterling and I take the dogs outside and walk for 30 minutes or so. This might be my favorite session to date. It’s true, I said it. It was a mix of everything going just right in the most important ways. The session was during golden hour, in a beautiful location, we took into account where the sun was setting so the light was ideal, and most importantly, we were SO comfortable with each other! I should add that the reason why we are so comfortable together is because we are good friends from JMU! Drew and Sterling (my husband) are fraternity brothers from JMU and Stacy and me are sorority sisters from JMU. Since we are good friends from college, coming together for this session was so sweet and easy! Additionally, Stacy’s mom and dad came along which was so nice to have extra helpers to watch our bags and be the smile task force. They were so sweet to come and help and such a Godsend! Read More »
